# Payment and Membership Issues

## If I am currently a member, can I still use my membership after changing phones?

iOS users: membership purchases are tied to your Apple ID. After changing phones, use the same ID and tap Restore Purchase in the top-right corner of the purchase page to restore your membership status.

Android users in China: membership purchases are tied to your WeChat account. After changing phones, sign in with the same WeChat account.

Google Play users: membership purchases are tied to your Google Play account. After changing phones, open the Google Play Store app on your Android device, tap the menu button in the top-left corner or your profile icon, then select Subscriptions. Find the item you want to restore, then tap Restore or Continue.

## Why did restore purchase fail?

This usually happens because different App Store IDs or Google Play IDs have been switched frequently, which can cause errors. The App Store ID or Google Play ID used for Restore Purchase must be the same ID used for the original payment. To fix this, uninstall OtterLife, then download and sign in again with the App Store ID or Google Play ID used for the original payment.

## Do I need to purchase membership again after switching from Android to iPhone, or from iPhone to Android?

Go to Settings - About You, copy both your old and new user IDs from the top-right corner, and send them to [otterlife@iftech.io](mailto:otterlife@iftech.io).

## How many devices can one membership account sign in on?

One OtterLife account can only be signed in on one device at a time. After you sign in on a new device, the account on the old device will be automatically signed out.

## What should I do if payment fails?

Try switching networks and trying again, such as switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data. You can also go to Settings - About You, sign out, and then sign in again.
